Trip to Uganda

This past November, I traveled with 5 others to Kampala, Uganda to work with New Hope Orphanage and Mengo Hospital (the first hospital built in Uganda). Lectures on Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardical Life Support and Advanced Pediatric Life Support were given at Mengo Hospital.

At an impromptu church clinic, approximately 100 patients were seen in 4 hours.

Lots more education is needed along with basic medical equipment. The need for an IV infusion pump is great and a main request by the physicians at Mengo.
